This weekend marked yet another unparalleled New York Fashion Market Week and surely, Manchester PR was there to get the inside scoop.

Evolving International Fashion: Atelier Designers offered over 100 creative fashion collections highlighting Fall One and Immediate 2013 womenswear, jewelry and accessories for wholesale trade only. This exclusive event spanned over six floors at the Doubletree Times Square from February 23-25 as buyers, fashionistas and fellow designers endlessly roamed decorated hallways.

MPR stopped in to see three exciting collections new to Atelier Designers this season worth highlighting.

First on the list, Kyrgyzstan native Designer, Aidai. Her handmade one-of-a-kind fused silk and wool scarves feature distinctive patterns, daring colors and a lightweight texture to die for.

Up next, SunMoon, by Japanese Artisan, Akihiko Izukura. Izukura’s FW/2013 Collection showcases scarves and dresses using silk fabrics in the form of hand weaving, braiding and netting. His use of rare colors stems from natural dyes, which are powered by sun energy.

And last, but not least, SMP Designs, LLC. /Simply Positive Jewelry designed by Susan Pielsticker. This contemporary line presents treasures of uncommon vintage, irreplaceable or hand-made custom design.

MPR also stopped in to see Alembika, STATUS, The Nuno Corporation, Teresa Goodall, Inc., Harubella, Inc., and Harshita Designs.
